As we welcome a new year, there’s no better time to reflect on the past, set fresh goals, and embrace opportunities to make a positive impact. At the Jersey Customer Experience Alliance (JCX), we’re kicking off 2025 with a campaign that’s all about spreading joy, building connections, and enhancing customer experiences.

Introducing New Year, New Smile — an initiative to inspire businesses and individuals to focus on creating exceptional customer interactions, starting with a simple smile.

Setting New Year CX Resolutions

The start of the year is the perfect time for businesses to align their teams around Customer eXperience (CX) goals.

Here are some ideas to inspire your own CX resolutions:

1. Commit to Employee Training

Invest in workshops or training sessions to equip your team with the tools and techniques to deliver outstanding service. CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR JCX TRAINING & EVENTS

2. Enhance Feedback Mechanisms

Implement or refine feedback channels, such as surveys or review platforms, to understand customer needs better.

3. Celebrate Wins

Recognise and reward employees who go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for customers. MORE HERE

4. Personalise Interactions

Use customer data to tailor services and make every interaction feel special.

5. Adopt a Smile-First Policy

Encourage staff to prioritise friendliness and approachability in all customer interactions. It costs nothing to SMILE, make an eye contact and say hello!!

The Social Media Campaign: #NewYearNewSmile

As part of the campaign, we’re launching a fun and interactive way for the community to acknowledge employees who brighten their day. To participate in the New Year, New Smile campaign, simply follow these steps to create and share your Smile Card on the Give Service a Smile Facebook page. Here’s how it works:

  1. Download the Virtual Smile Card: CLICK HERE
  2. Personalise the Card: Add the recipient’s name and a message about their excellent service.
  3. Share the Smile:
  • Click the Upload button in the top-right corner.
  • Select More from the options.
  • Click on Facebook and choose Your Groups.
  • Find and select Give Service a Smile facebook Page to upload your design directly!

Remember to use the hashtag #NewYearNewSmile and tag the individual or their workplace and @JCXAlliance so we can share the positivity!
